The beautiful mountain resort of Queenstown, New Zealand was the venue of the 2002 international ribosome conference, from the 27th January - 1st February. The organising committee thanks and farewells all students and researchers who attended the meeting. We had a lovely time and hope you did too.

Photos of the poster night and conference dinner can be viewed here. Unfortunately our camera was having one or two battery problems so we don't have as many photographs as we would have liked. Anyone who has digital photographs taken at the conference and would like to share them with the other conference attendees (and the rest of the world) should email Bronwyn - bronwyn@biocadmin.otago.ac.nz to organise transport (ftp passwords etc.) and setup.

Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellations should be made by email to the conference organiser Billie Masters (billie@jsmasters.co.nz). Full refunds will be made up to October 31 2001, and a 50% refund of the registration fee will be available between November 1 and December 1. There will be no refunds available after December 1 2001. All agreed refunds will be paid in February 2002.

Refund of accommodation deposits will depend on individual hotel/motel policies; Billie Masters will negotiate on your behalf.
