Biochemistry successes in translational research awards

Associate Professor Richard Macknight and his PhD student George Taiaroa were the winners of the 2015 Otago Translational Research grant, while Dr Andrew Cridge and Professor Peter Dearden were runners up.

The winning project is a diagnostic tool to accurately identify DNA changes, and the runner up is a test to quantify the composition of New Zealand honeys.
