The 35th meeting of the "Department of Biochemistry Research Society" was held on the afternoons of August 23 and 24 2011. All of the fourth year Honours, Masters, and Dip Sci students presented the work they have done over the last few months in a series of fifteen minute talks to the whole department. The talks highlighted the broad range of research in the Department and the amount of hard work students put into their practical work. The standard of the presentations was excellent.
As has become traditional, the students provided home baked afternoon tea for their audience, and were presented with engraved weighing spatulas at the end of proceedings by Head of Department Prof Kurt Krause.
